KeyResponsibilities

• Design and develop reporting solutions using SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA.
  
• Develop BW data models including ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, Info Objects, and related BW objects.
  
• Design and develop data flows from SAP S/4HANA and other source systems into BW/HANA.
  
• Develop reporting queries using BW Query Designer / Eclipse-based tools.
  
• Develop complex reports and analytical solutions using SAP Analysis for Office (AFO).
  
• Design and develop dashboards and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  
• Integrate BW/HANA data models with AFO and SAC reporting solutions.
  
• Translate business reporting requirements into scalable technical reporting solutions.
  
• Develop calculated and restricted key figures, variables, filters, hierarchies, and other reporting components.
  
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems, BW/HANA and reporting outputs.
  
• Analyze and optimize BW/HANA and report performance.
  
• Troubleshoot data, query, AFO and SAC reporting issues.
  
• Participate in Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution and deployment.
  
• Work closely with functional teams, data migration teams, ABAP developers and business stakeholders.
  
• Prepare technical specifications, data-flow documentation and reporting documentation.
  
• Support cutover, go-live and post-go-live stabilization/hypercare activities.
  

Must-Have Skills& Experience

• 8–12 years of SAP BW/HANA experience.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA / BW on HANA.
  
• Strong experience in SAP HANA concepts and data modeling.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  
• ADSO
  
• CompositeProviders
  
• Open ODS Views
  
• InfoObjects
  
• BW Queries
  
• Data flows / transformations
  
• Strong experience in SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) reporting.
  
• Strong experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reporting/dashboard development.
  
• Experience connecting and consuming BW/HANA data through AFO and SAC.
  
• Good understanding of S/4HANA data sources and integration with BW/HANA.
  
• Experience in report/query performance optimization.
  
• Strong data validation and reconciliation experience.
  
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects is mandatory.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• SAP HANA SQL / SQLScript.
  
• CDS Views and S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
  
• SAP BusinessObjects.
  
• Advanced SAC capabilities including stories, models, dashboards and analytical applications.
  
• Experience with SAC planning, if applicable to the project.
  
• Experience with large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs.
  
• Knowledge of SAP reporting and analytics architecture.
